Super 1s provides young people with a chance to realise their potential, both on and off the pitch and over the summer we engaged with 45 of our regular super 1 participants to help them further develop skills for life through our great sport!

This summer we provided participants with:

4 Super 1 cricket festivals

Volunteering opportunities

A cooking workshop

A friendship & Safety workshop

A employability workshop

2 outdoor activity days

A personal development 3 day residential.

Super 1s, funded through the Lords Taverners, provides these opportunities to help young people realise their potential. It improves their physical and mental well-being, giving a sense of belonging as they make friends and gain skills for life such as confidence and independence.

The summer programme has had so many positive comments from young people, parents and carers.

It’s so encouraging to see sport being used as a conduit for developing life skills for all youngsters, no matter their starting point.
