Somerset Cricket Grounds Association
The Somerset Cricket Grounds Association’s (SCGA) principle aim is to work in partnership with appropriate individuals, suppliers and agencies to develop both groundskeepers and playing surfaces for all clubs, schools and facilities affiliated to the SCF.
Aims between 2020-2024
- Improve the quality of pitches and outfields at cricket facilities;
- Maintain and develop an active Somerset Grounds Association;
- Develop an active training and development programme for groundskeepers; and
- Help clubs to access appropriate and affordable machinery and materials.
The Association is responsible within Somerset for:
- Grounds Services & Delivery: Trailer Scheme and Aeration Scheme
- Advise & Guide: Somerset Cricket Grounds Support Team, GMA Toolkit, GMA Online Level One
- Added Value & Procurement: Details to be announced soon
- Member Services: Events & Webinars, Facebook Group, Twitter Page

Membership
Membership to the Somerset Cricket Grounds Association is open to all bona fide cricketing organisations / clubs in Somerset and for clubs in the county who affiliate to the cricket board your ground person is added as a member automatically. If you are not at an affiliated club please click here to become a member.
