We are delighted to announce that after a 3 year absence we will be holding four Club Development Workshops across the county to help clubs look ahead to the 2023 season (and beyond) and for us to share some of the headline activities that will be taking place during next year.

All meetings start at 7pm and will last approximately 90 minutes.

What topics will be covered on the evening?

  • A look into the End of Season Club Support Questionnaire and exploring a number of topics raised by clubs such as Player and volunteer retention/ recruitment and facilities.
  • County Grants update
  • Women’s and Girls cricket update
  • Community Programmes and how these can linked into the club network
  • National Programmes (All-Stars and Dynamo’s) update for 2023
  • Safeguarding updates, including Safe Hands Management System
  • Education Courses for coaches and volunteer
  • Updates on Somerset Cricket Foundation Competitions for 2023
  • Other subjects raised by clubs prior to the evening!
  • And Presentation of ClubMark Accreditation Certificates

The workshops will be useful for anyone involved in clubs and leagues within Somerset!
