WHOLE CLUB DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOPS
The workshops provide the opportunity to bring all stakeholders at your club together and identify strengths at your club and areas of opportunities, with the overall aim to develop a long-term plan to develop your club.
The sessions will be facilitated by Somerset Cricket Foundation staff but all the results from the workshop will be information given by your players, members, supporters and club stakeholders.
The workshop will focus on a number of areas: Mission statement, People, Member services, Member welfare, Community links and Club Management.

ECB COUNTY GRANTS CLOSING SOON
Applications considered within three categories, ‘Creating welcoming environments’, ‘Enhanced facilities and playing opportunities for Women & Girls cricket and/or Disability cricket’ or ‘Tackling Climate Change’. Clubs can apply for between £1,000 (minimum) and £10,000 (maximum) per application. Read more about new opportunities with our UES partnership.

SOUTH WEST CRICKET GROUNDS MAINTENANCE DAY
We’re partnering with leading turf care providers within the industry, and being supported by Head Grounds Person Nick Pepper of Somerset CCC, to deliver this exciting event that’s aimed at all ground persons involved in cricket grounds preparation – from grassroots recreational clubs, to educational and commercial providers.

SOMERSET SENIORS – WANT TO PLAY FOR SOMERSET?
Are you over 49 and looking to extend your playing career? Think you could represent Somerset? Somerset Seniors are looking for new players who want to play on top quality grounds, with ACO umpires, scorers and against like minded players.
3 teams for over 50s, 3 teams for over 60s, 1 team for over 70s and 1 friendly team, who have a large fixtures list across the season. The 60s 2nd XI contested their third national final in three years in 2023 – some say playing for their county is the cherry on top of their playing career!
Training:
The Cooper Associates County Ground at 1700 to 18:00 on Fridays, 1st March to 22nd April.
Weston super Mare CC at 10:00 to 13:00 on Wednesdays. 13th March to 27th March.

The Lord’s Taverners Sports Kit Recycling programme are looking for cricket equipment, especially HARD BALL CRICKET BATS AND BALLS to distribute overseas and further the development of cricket in other countries.
Please bring any unwanted bats & balls that are in good condition to the Foundation offices.
