Funding streams available to clubs
When applying for any grant funding we strongly recommend you take the time to see if you project meets the aims and criteria of the funding body before applying. If you are unsure after reading their website please contact the funder directly to clarify.
Funding up to £10k
Loans up to £50k
Funding up to £15k
Funding from £300 to £20k
The Recreation theme covers projects which will benefit people in their free time, but also includes renovations of clubhouses which have a wider community use outside of sporting activities.
Funding from £10k to £75k
The SUEZ Communities Fund for England uses monies provided by SUEZ Recycling and Recovery UK through the Landfill Communities Fund. The company’s donations relate to its operations in England.
Funding from £3k – £50k
The HPC Community Fund has been created to benefit areas experiencing ‘residual and intangible’ impacts as a result of the construction with grant funding.
Funding up to £20k
You can ask for money if your group works in one of these communities and you have an idea to make the local area better. Whatever you ask for, it must improve community wellbeing and quality of life.
Funding unrestricted
A Green Business Grant is designed to help small and medium businesses and organisations purchase and install new products and equipment that reduce your carbon emissions, cut your utility costs and improve your energy efficiency.
Funding up to 15k
Involving communities in environmental activities that benefit their local area, restoring, maintaining or enhancing the local natural environment or engaging people in supporting the local natural environment

Funding up to £60k
Grants of up to £750 are available to very small registered charities, community groups, sports clubs and Community Interest Companies across the UK for sports kit and clothing for children and young people aged 18 or under
Two funds with a common aim – to support youth cricket in Somerset. Tony Coles offers grants to help fund facility projects at clubs or schools, whereas the Harry Burden annually awards a bursary to support a young player’s cricket.
