Dynamos Fun is a continuation of the ECB Dynamos Cricket experience, designed to help players build confidence and develop skills using softball formats. Sessions are inclusive, supportive and game-based, ensuring all players stay active and engaged.

A fun, energetic course designed to develop young cricketers across all aspects of the game. Players will rotate through batting, bowling, and fielding activities, building strong foundations while enjoying plenty of game-based challenges. Open to players of all experience with softball and hardball opportunities available in each session.

UK School Year 7, 8 & 9

This session is aimed at players who want to develop impact skills with bat and ball. Players will explore how to score quickly, apply pressure, and bowl with intent, using competitive scenarios and challenges to bring skills to life.

Players will practise their batting skills through a mixture of fun activities and games. Players will get the opportunity to hit lots of balls in a safe and nurturing environment developing their ball striking and power. Most importantly players will have a fantastic time!

Our ‘Gameplay’ courses are 3 hour courses where players will get the opportunity to play a number of different games and scenarios where they have to work out how to be successful and achieve the end goal. The course will give players the opportunity to try different tactics and skills focused around batting, bowling and fielding.

GIRLS ONLY

UK School Year 7, 8 & 9

A mixture of fun activities and games. Activities will use a soft ball (with hardball elements for those girls that it is suitable for) and will give players the opportunity to improve their batting, bowling, throwing and catching skills in a fun and friendly environment.

Glow in the Dark Cricket is a fun, fast paced cricket experience designed to create excitement and enjoyment in a safe, inclusive environment. Using glow equipment, lighting effects and modified games, players experience cricket in a unique and memorable way.

A specialist batting session designed to help players improve against faster bowling. Sessions break down technique, movement and decision-making, helping batters feel more confident and composed when facing pace.

specIaLIst WICKET KEEPING

School years 7, 8, 9 & 10

This session is designed for players who currently enjoy playing as a wicket keeper and would like to continue developing their skills in the role. The session provides a positive and supportive environment where players can learn, practise and be challenged at an appropriate level, with coaches offering individual feedback to help each player improve.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own wicket keeping equipment where possible, with kit available on the day if needed.

SPECIALIST BOWLING – PACE & SPIN

School years 7, 8, 9 & 10

This specialist workshop offers bowlers the opportunity to develop their pace or spin bowling through focused technical coaching and applied practice. Players will work on key skills, consistency, and game understanding, with guidance aimed at supporting long term development.

masterclasses

With the help of a pro coach or Somerset CCC player, Masterclasses offer a unique insight into different cricket skills. Each course is highly specific and detailed, offering smaller coaching ratios and detailed coaching on individual cricket skills.
