We have partnered with Reminiscence Learning to use the power of remembering and talking about sport – along with physical exercise – to tackle dementia, depression and loneliness.
A small amount of funding was secured to through Somerset Activity and Sports Partnership/Sport England and their Together Fund.
The sports reminiscing project will take place at the iconic Cooper Associates County Ground for 12 weeks every Monday starting on the 31st October. We have complied a ‘fixture list’ for the 12 weeks detailing the sport we plan to reminisce, along with a variety of gentle physical activities including boccia, new age kurling, table cricket etc to get people active.
Weekly sessions are planned to start on Monday 31st October from 10am – 12.30pm. Sessions will cost £5 per person. To book a place, please contact email@example.com
