Against a backdrop of a historical and thrilling summer for England Men, clubs and leagues delivered the biggest and best summer for All Stars Cricket and Junior Cricket.
As we already look ahead to 2020, the ECB are incredibly excited to be launching a new programme for children aged 8 – 11 – the perfect next step for All Stars participants, an introductory programme for all those new to cricket and a complimentary programme for any children currently playing Junior Cricket.
Supported by Sky, the programme will make cricket accessible for even more children throughout the country. The ECB are looking forward to sharing more details with Clubs & Volunteers in the coming weeks and in November and December, They’ll be touring the country to share everything you need to know and give you the chance to ask any questions face-to-face.
In Somerset, we are very fortunate in that we have been chosen by the ECB to host the first roadshow in the County Room at The Cooper Associates County Ground on Monday 18th November. Arrival is from 7pm with light refreshments being provided before the Evening begins at 7.30pm.

We would encourage all clubs who have run Junior Cricket in the County (even if you don’t deliver All Stars Cricket) to try and attend to learn about the programme direct from the ECB but we are aware that some clubs may not be able to attend so once we know who has attended we will look to arrange an appropriate sweep up session.
