On the 21st August before the Western Storm took on and defeated Surrey Stars, around 50 girls aged 9-11 took to the outfield at the Cooper Associates County Ground to take part in Western Storms’ Little Stormers Girls Festival.

The morning was designed to inspire with the opportunity to play at a First Class County Ground and then watch the superstars of the female game.

The six teams had a great morning with plenty of individual excellence, but more importantly it was fun!  Each team that attended brought with them an army of volunteers who were instrumental throughout the morning and were there to assist with umpiring, scoring, supporting and coaching.
