Over the past three months, we have encouraged cricket clubs to pledge their support in becoming a Disability Champion.  To date we have 28 clubs willing to pledge their support to one of three levels.  You can read more about the Disability Champion programme by clicking here.

As part of our offer to support clubs in becoming a Disability Champion, we want to help clubs create an inclusive environment when coaching.  This could be especially key if your club is delivering a National Programme like All Stars or Dynamos.  Last year around 100 young people attending programmes across the county registered as having an additional need.  We want to equip clubs with the skills to ask the right questions and create the best session to ensure everyone has a positive and equal experience.

We have partnered with Somerset Activity & Sports Partnership and Access Sport Bristol to run two training sessions that will explore how make your sessions inclusive.
