📢 Pre-season net hire at the Centre of Excellence, Taunton

There is limited availability for pre-season net hire at the Centre of Excellence, Cooper Associates County Ground, Taunton, for our clubs.

We are pleased to confirm that the Centre of Excellence has undergone a major refurbishment, including new flooring, lighting, and netting. The facility now meets the latest requirements and standards for purpose-built cricket centres and is now configured as a five-lane facility.

Lane hire is £30 per slot per lane for affiliated clubs and £40 per slot per lane for non-affiliated clubs and can be booked by contacting Ben Osborne. Lanes are available on the following dates.

AVAILABILITY UPDATED 12/12/2025 @ 10am:

Tuesday 10th February

• 6:15–7:15pm – 1 Lane

• 7:20–8:20pm – 2 Lanes

Friday 13th February

• 6:15–7:15pm – 1 Lane

• 8:25–9:25pm – 1 Lane

Tuesday 17th February

• 7:20–8:20pm – 2 Lanes

Friday 20th February, Friday 27th February, Friday 6th March, Friday 13th March & Friday 20th March – Slots are fully booked.

Bookings are made on a first-come, first-served basis

Booking Details

• Sessions will be 60 mins long with a 5-minute change over period between sessions
• There is to be maximum of 8 people per lane including coaches. All participants must be eligible to play open aged adult cricket.
• If you have any U18s within your session you must have an ECB DBS Adult present .
• No kit bags should be taken into the hall or left in the corridor.
• Stumps will be supplied, there is no access to the bowling machines

Cancellation Charges

• 1 week or more before session: full refund
• After 1 week: no refund unless slot is re sold.
