With exciting new activities at grassroots level, the second year of a brand new professional domestic structure in place, two fascinating England Women series and the launch of The Hundred, this year is shaping up to see more women and girls than ever before say ‘cricket is a game for me’.

We will be celebrating women and girls’ cricket throughout June and beyond, to grow the women’s and girls’ games further in Somerset. Here is a preview of the events we can all look forward to as part of Women’s Big Cricket Month.

1st June – Claverham CC – Storm Young Champions Course (14-17 Year Olds)

2nd June – Staplegrove CC – Storm Young Champions Course (14-17 Year Olds)

4th June – Ilton Women’s Bubbles and Bats Festival

6th June – Bedminster U11s Softball Festival

11th June – Ilton U11s Softball Festival

13th June – Uphill Castle U13s Hardball Festival

13th June – Bedminster Women’s Softball Festival

13th June – Long Sutton Women’s Softball Festival

13th June – Wembdon Women’s Softball Festival
