Somerset Over 50’s 2nds have made it to the the Championship Plate Final after a 3 wicket win away at Surrey.

A 51 run stand between top scorer David Gooch (45* off 37 balls) and Jon Kerslake (22 off 22) saw Somerset to the final with 9 balls to spare after Krishnan Subramanian had taken 2-18.

The Final vs Hampshire will take place on Wednesday 13th September at North Perrott CC starting a 12noon.
