On Saturday 2nd September, Somerset Cricket Foundation will be hosting the Women’s KO Cup softball and hardball finals and the Higos 100 final.
10:15 – Women’s Softball Final (Bedminster v Buckhorn Weston)
13:00 – Women’s Hardball Final (Bedminster v Buckhorn Weston)
16:00 – Women’s Higos 100 Final (Somerset Scorchers v Somerset Strikers)
The Women’s Softball KO Cup competition saw 29 teams play over the last three months and had some great results and matches across the county.
The Women’s Hardball KO Cup competition saw 11 teams take part with couple of clubs being there first time playing hardball cricket. The competition has provided a great stepping stone into the Women’s Hardball cricket and had some great fixtures take place.


women’s Higos 100 fINALS

The Women’s Higos 100 was designed this season to provide more Women and Girls with the opportunity to play hardball cricket. The competition has taken place over three bank holiday Monday at Claverham, Ilton and Cooper Associates County Ground.
It was run as a franchise competition with Women being split into three teams Somerset Scorchers, Somerset Sixers and Somerset Strikers. With some very competitive fixture and some great player performances.
The competition is coming to a close with the finals being at the Cooper Associates County Ground on Saturday 2nd September with Somerset Strikers v Somerset Scorchers.
