‘Street Cricket’ Coaches Required for Bridgwater and Yeovil
We are looking for one or two enthusiastic and dedicated coaches to lead on our ‘Street Cricket’ Projects. We are looking to restart our projects in Bridgwater and Yeovil and require an inspirational individual(s) to drive the projects forward.
‘Street Cricket’ aims to give individuals in urban areas who may not normally be able to access cricket or see it as a game for them, the opportunity to play. The aim is to not only coach cricket but to teach the many transferable skills that cricket has to offer.
The role would involve delivering a number of taster sessions/assemblies in schools leading up to the start of the sessions which will take place one evening per week (during term time) all year round. The evening sessions will last for 1 hour and take place between 4:30-7pm. This will be dependant on the individual and facilities.
Coaches will be paid by the hour for delivery along with travel expenses.
If you believe you have what it takes to help drive these projects and make a real difference please email scott.chappell@somersetcricketboard.org by Friday 5th April.
