Somerset Cricket Foundation continues its commitment to supporting communities through inclusive sport with the Together in Sport Dementia Sports Group, providing a welcoming and supportive environment for people living with dementia, their families, and carers.
The weekly group takes place every Monday morning from 10:00am–12:00pm at the CA County Ground, offering participants the opportunity to enjoy movement, social interaction, and the many benefits that sport and laughter can bring.
The sessions combine elements of sport, gentle physical activity, and memory-based activities designed to encourage conversation, connection, and positive experiences.
The programme is not just about sport; it is about creating friendships, building confidence, reducing isolation, and providing a regular space where everyone feels welcome.
