Supporting local community connections

Walkers & Talkers, in partnership with the Somerset Cricket Foundation, hold free monthly events at the Cooper Associates County Ground that helps increase connections and reduce social isolation in local communities. These monthly events comprise a complimentary coffee, a gentle stroll around the ground, and a one-hour Q&A with a Somerset Cricket Legend.

About Walkers & Talkers

After experiencing the wellbeing benefits of regularly connecting and walking with friends in Bristol, ex-Gloucestershire CCC wicketkeeper Andy Brassington set up Walkers & Talkers in 2021 with an intention to support local community connection and reduce the feelings of loneliness and social isolation felt by so many.
