These inspirational women are just some of the fantastic volunteers and coaches who are involved in cricket, either through their local cricket club, school or within the community. All these incredible women come from many different backgrounds and have a range of stories, which they have shared with us, on how they got involved in cricket, what it is like to be volunteer or coach within their community and how easy and rewarding it is to do.
Check out their profiles here and find out the ways in which all of them have grown women’s and girls’ cricket in Somerset.
Volunteers are the heartbeat of any community or club and during Women Big Cricket Month, Somerset Cricket Foundation would like to take this opportunity to thank all these women and all the other women across the county who either volunteer or coach in their clubs or in the community.
If you’d like to find out how you can get involved in women’s and girls’ cricket in Somerset this summer, get in touch!
