A three-hour face to face course designed to give learners the knowledge, skills and confidence to support qualified coaches.

FOUNDATION COACH

A two-day course ideal for prospective coaches, team managers and volunteers who are looking to take their first step on the coaching pathway.

ECB CORE COACH

A level 2 course for those seeking to qualify as a coach able to deliver, lead and specialise in sessions for players of all ages.

COACHES ASSOCIATION WORKSHOPS

The Somerset Coaches Association (SCA) is an active organisation, which is run to benefit all coaches in Somerset. It runs workshops that are open to all SCA members.

Bursary Funding

SCF

A bursary can be awarded to learners that register on ECB Support Coach, ECB Foundation Coach or ECB Core Coach programmes between 1st February 2025 and 31st January 2026. Bursaries are available to the potential coaches that are female, from ethnically diverse communities, have a disability or are experiencing financial hardship.

If your club plays in the West of England Premier League you may be able to claim up to 50% of the cost of the following courses

If your club plays in the Wiltshire County Cricket League you may be able to claim up to 50% of the cost (up to £300 per club per season) of the following courses

  • ECB Umpires Courses
  • First Aid
