Cricket needs more volunteers
We want to inspire and develop the next generation of volunteers by supporting players aged 14 – 17 from our club network with the opportunity to develop key skills which they can use to help their clubs grow and flourish. That’s why the Somerset Cricket Foundation is working with Somerset Association of Cricket Officials (SACO) and Somerset CCC Pathway to deliver training to young volunteers in the club network.
There are four compulsory modules
- Activator Training
- Safeguarding
- Umpiring
- Scoring
About the training
The training will be delivered by an experienced team of coaches and tutors who work closely with Somerset Cricket Foundation to help improve cricket locally and nationally.

What will the candidates receive?
